AREA INFORMATION IFEMA (Madrid’s exhibition centre) (5 km) – This striking convention centre features 150,000 square metres of covered exhibition area spread over ten exhibition halls with 140,000 parking spaces. The centre hosts a variety of events, conferences, exhibitions and conventions throughout the year.
Museo del Prado (16.4 km) – This famous museum and art gallery houses one of the world's finest collections of European art, with works from the 14th century through to the early 19th century. The museum contains the finest collection of Spanish art anywhere in the world.
Plaza de la Villa (17.4 km) - There are three remarkable and unique buildings in this medium-sized square in the heart of Madrid. Looking clockwise from the Calle Mayor, we find on the left the Casa y Torre de los Lujanes, one of the few remaining examples of 15th century architecture left in the city.
Gran Vía (16.6 km) – meaning literally Great Way, Gran Via is an ornate and upscale shopping street, leading from Plaza de Cibeles to Plaza de España. This lively street is one of the city's most important shopping areas. What really makes this street so special though is the architectural design of many of the large buildings. While walking through this crowded street make sure you look up once in a while and admire the often lavishly decorated façades.
TRAVEL INFORMATION By Air:
The hotel is approximately 2 km from Madrid Barajas International Airport.
By Train:
The nearest train station is Cercanias San Fernando, which is about 500 m from the hotel.
By Car (from Madrid/M-40):
- Take the A2 towards Zaragoza.
- Take exit 11 (using the Via de Servicio Coslada-San Fernando).
- Once you pass by the Pegaso building (after about 200 metres), take the 1st exit to the right.
- The hotel is approximately 50 metres further on.
By Car (from Barcelona/M-45):
- Take the A2 motorway towards Madrid,
- Take exit 15.
- At the 1st roundabout, take the 1st exit towards Coslada after 200 metres.
COMMENTS Payment Information:
Guests need to produce ID on arrival. Payment is due at check out and is accepted in cash or via credit card (Visa, Dinners, Mastercard and American Express). Deposits are not necessary, except for special events, when the hotel will inform the guest directly.
Please note: Children can sleep in the same room as the parents but need an extra bed.
